You can Move Mountains

I have felt so inspired over the weekend after my Mary Kay fall advance seminar. And no I am not blogging about my job, I  just heard some amazing things after the seminar that I feel like everyone should benifit from. I find that we constantly find ourselves facing difficult decisions and trials in our lives. How we face them though, can either lead us onto greater things or put us in a continuous vicious cycle you get sucked into. But you can walk through it, all you have to do is think "I can do this."
We can't let fear take over our lives, fear is an emotion that runs, controls, and will ruin your life. We also can't become negative people who think 'why always me,' you become your negative thoughts. We need to stop having fear and being so negative and realize that the situations we are being put through are blessings. Having to face our fears is a blessing in the way of having to overcome something and to learn something new and grow. But after we have gone through yet another trial, to completely grow from it, we have to let it go. When you tell people about your problems you stay where you are instead of moving forward with your life. If you change what you say and what you think you become that. You can do anything you want to do!!
And now I am going to talk about how amazing my job is! Seriously I get to work how I want and when. I get to work with amazing people! And I get to do what I love! How many people get to say that?
I know I post a lot about makeup and my job, but I'm passionate about it. My family and my job are things that make me very happy, so how can I not share.
I'm ready to rock my business! Are you ready to start something awesome?!

Peaches!

I absolutely love all the delicious peaches you get at this time of year. My husband recently tag me on a post on Facebook for peaches and cream cookies, I was so so excited! When I saw that the recipe didn't actually call for fresh peaches, I decided to create my own peach cookie recipe.

Peach Cobbler Cookie

Cook at 350 degree for 9 min.
Ingredients

2 cups diced peaches
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
4 cups flour

1. Mix peaches, sugar, one egg, and vanilla until completely blended.

2. Add sour cream and room temperature butter and mix.

3. Add baking soda and slowly mix in flour.

It's going to be thick and very gooy, then refrigerate for at least an hour.

Put a decent sized spoon full amount on the cooking sheet and cook for 9 min. at •350

White or Black

Wooo ok! Let's see if I can write this and get across what I'm feeling and not let my total frustration with the people I know and the people I love take over my emotions.....

In my youngster years of being a behive, there was a lesson taught of doing right and wrong (white and black). Your actions were either white or black, you couldn't believe in one thing but do another (grey area). I didn't really get it then. I thought it was a "well duh" lesson. But more and more in my life today I see myself reflecting on that lesson. I see so many friends around me hanging around in the grey area and it saddens me because they believe it is still ok because they still believe in God and the teachings of the church but follow worldly things. It is extremely difficult to stand up for everything you believe in this day and age, and it definitely is a lot easier to follow to avoid getting critizied. Or even because the world has made it so so exceptable and ok to be in the grey area, that it doesn't seem wrong.

Christians must live as citizens of heaven, not as citizens of this earth.

2 Nephi Chapter 2
13 And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not there is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.

And now some talks from wise old men..

My young friends, the world will not glide calmly toward the Second Coming of the Savior. The scriptures declare that “all things shall be in commotion.” Brigham Young said, “It was revealed to me in the commencement of this Church, that the Church would spread, prosper, grow and extend, and that in proportion to the spread of the Gospel among the nations of the earth, so would the power of Satan rise.”
More concerning than the prophesied earthquakes and wars are the spiritual whirlwinds that can uproot you from your spiritual foundations and land your spirit in places you never imagined possible, sometimes with your barely noticing that you have been moved.
God expects us to uphold and keep His commandments regardless of divergent opinions or trends in society.
    -Elder Neil L. Andersen

I pray that we will not lose sight of the way so that we may always be connected with the heavens.
How often do we make a mistake about the right way, letting ourselves be led along by the trends of the world? We need to continually ask ourselves if we are being doers of the words of Jesus Christ.
   -Elder Claudio D. Zivic

Really I wish I could physically turn the heads of those who I love so dearly to the past and let them watch themselves and then to the future. Now I'm not saying I'm perfect by any means, but I do know what is right and wrong. Just really think about it is all I ask...
Stop living in the grey.. It's time to choose, white or black.
